Even If You Stand Alone

Speak truth…even if nobody else listens.

Know your worth…even if nobody else does.

Share your gift…even if someone else’s seems better.

Say you’re sorry…even if you’ve already said it one hundred times.

Stay soft to good things…even if all you’ve had are bad days.

Practice gratitude…even if it’s not the life you originally dreamed it would be.

Slow down…even if there are a million things to do today.

Give of your first fruits…even if your harvest is small.

Use your words for kindness…even if the receiver is not deserving.

Tell her she has value…even if you struggle to see your own.

Celebrate the victories…even if they seem small & insignificant.

Take the first step…even if you don’t know what the next three are.

Choose joy…even if there are a million things to be afraid of.

Spend time with Jesus every day…even if your to-do list is long.

Tell someone you love them…even if they already know.

Reach out to that friend…even if you don’t know what to say.

Sign up for the race…even if you don’t feel ready.

Don’t compromise your convictions…even if everyone around you does.

Take a break if you need to…even if it makes you look weak.

Seek first to understand…even if you disagree.

Stand up for what is right…even if you have to stand alone.

Let our “even ifs” remind us that some things will always be worth whatever may be waiting on the other side. Because the alternative is a life too easily dictated by the ever-impending, never satisfied “what if?”
